Note on Specification of the Receiving Equipment
Based on the “Service” technical specification and parameters and in order to achieve the expected reception quality, Customer’s receiving equipment of the MCPC platform on INSAT 2 E satellite shall comply with the followings:
• Since actual reception quality may vary due to various factors, Customers should use the worst case parameters, along with additional margins for other losses and degradation in determining the specification of their receiving equipment. Estimated receiving antenna size shall be 2.8 to 3 meters.
• LNB shall be the C-band frequency ranging from 3.4 GHZ to 4.2 GHZ.
• Receiver shall be free to air model and have the frequency ranging from 950 to 2150 MHz.
